Jonathan Geballe_SurrogateJonathan was born and raised in Seattle, Washington.  He earned a B.A. (cum laude) from New York University in 1987.  In 1990 he graduated from Cardozo School of Law where he was Editor-In-Chief of the Moot Court Board.  He started his legal career at the Office of Corporation Counsel (New York City Law Department 1990-1994) and then moved on to private practice. He has served as the Chairperson of the Real Estate Section of the New York County Lawyers Association and Co-Chaired the Jack Newton Lerner Landlord-Tenant Practice Institute in 2015, 2017 and 2019.

Jonathan has recently (April 16, 2019) taught a Strafford CLE webinar called “Airbnb and Short-Term Rentals
